A Salute to Veterans — and Future Veterans (posted 11/11/20)

Gene Sorrell, U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and member of Mission Valley Honor Guard that participated in a Native American Honor Song tribute as part of the christening of the USS MONTANA on September 12, 2020.

We’re reminded especially each Veterans Day of the sacrifices our veterans have made for all of us in defense of our nation. We’re also reminded of the sacrifices made by their families.

We salute them all.

We also salute our future veterans who are serving currently, and who will in the future, including aboard the USS MONTANA and in all branches of the armed forces.

Our wish and prayer is that all remember and support our veterans, our future veterans, and their families in meaningful and special ways on Veterans Day and throughout each year as do so many individuals and organizations in Big Sky Country.
