Veterans Day 2022 (posted 11/10/22)

On Veterans Day, November 11 — and always — we remember and salute those who have served in our nation’s armed forces.

This year we give special thanks to our Montana submarine veterans, many shown here in Kalispell on May 13, 2017.

US Submarine Veterans, Inc., Montana Base meeting where the USS Montana Committee’s creation was announced.

At that USSVI Montana Base statewide meeting, creation of the USS Montana Committee, Inc., as the official commissioning committee for SSN 794 was announced.

Our Montana submarine veterans proudly served our nation. They continue to support our military and veterans of all services. And they have been inspirations to the young sailors of the USS MONTANA that was commissioned in June.

As the MONTANA crew members continue to train for missions they may be called to perform, we recognize them as future veterans we will also always honor.
