Montana, Montana, Glory of the Seas Previews – Airs Saturday, February 22 (posted 2/19/25)
On Monday, February 17, the hour-long documentary Montana, Montana, Glory of the Seas was publicly previewed by a hundred Montanans at the historic Myrna Loy Theater in Helena.
Attendees who saw the history of the first USS MONTANA, Armored Cruiser Number 13 commissioned in 1908, and the newest member of the Pacific Fleet, the nuclear-powered fast attack submarine USS MONTANA (SSN 794) – and the support Montanans have shown both – were from many backgrounds. Active duty members of the U.S. Navy from the local Naval Reserve Center. Submarine veterans. Members of the statewide USS Montana Committee. Interested citizens. Documentary producer Craig Wirth. And Montana Governor Greg. Gianforte.

By all accounts, the preview, the documentary it premiered to a live audience, and the discussion with Producer Craig Wirth that followed were great successes.
Montana, Montana, Glory of the West will be televised statewide on Saturday, February 22, at 6PM on Scripps MTN CBS channels serving Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Great Falls, Helena, Kalispell, Missoula and their surrounding areas.
