The upcoming spectacular Billings Navy Week and Air Show will have a representative of the USS MONTANA among the sailors participating in a number of events next week.

LT Connor Smith, who recently concluded an assignment as Assistant Operations Officer aboard SSN 794, will join the Navy team in Billings. He, along with his wife, Isabel, talked on Friday with host Tom Schultz on the statewide Voices of Montana radio program about the upcoming Navy events. They also talked about life aboard a submarine – and life as a Navy spouse while a loved one is out-of-touch for long periods.

Also, for those in the Billings area and able to do so, please join other USS Montana Committee members on Thursday, August 20, at 9:30 AM to meet and grab a coffee with LT Smith and Isabel. The informal gathering will be at Mazevo Coffee, 1405 38th Street West in Billings.
