As the June 25 commissioning approaches, we thank all those who have committed to witnessing history being made – in person in Norfolk, Virginia. And we salute all those awaiting requested ceremony invitations from the Navy. They will begin to be emailed within days.

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone to the USS MONTANA commissioning, whether from Big Sky Country or not. But for Montanans and special guests of the USS Montana Committee, we have a special program with its latest schedule available here.

We do have a request for Montanans and Committee guests: If you have not already done so by email, please let us know by a message on the Contact page of this website whether or not you will be attending the Thursday evening, June 23, Montanans and guests get-acquainted no-host event. If so, how many will be in your party? Also, we’d appreciate your telling us whether or not you’ll be attending specific events on Friday, June 24. Again, how many will be in your party? Your Contact page response will help us plan for just the right number of people at our events, and lead to quality, cost-effective programs.

Finally, whether you are a Montanan, one of our special guests, or simply an interested citizen and patriot, feel free to use the Contact page to send us any questions.
